Ralph Waldo Emerson Quote

"The purpose of life is not to be happy.
It is to be useful,
to be honorable,
to be compassionate,
to have it make some difference that you have lived
and lived well."
~~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Received this in a Thought for Today email.  I dedicate this to all TBIers who strive (or have strived to) to live well and make a difference.

Loved that quote. Just want you to know you make a difference in our lives. We both read that link I mentioned last time and it made sense of a bunch of things we had been struggling with. This blog is a good thing you are doing. I'm sure we aren't the only ones who have appreciated it and been helped. Thanks for being you.

Thank you kindly, CCC, I'm very happy to hear this blog is helpful.

Seems only right to share what I've learned and give as much support as I can when I can.

Thanks so much for your ongoing friendship and support :-)

That was a good idea about the publishing thing. I'm going to try that with a small Canadian magazine. There is a link to it on my blog: Canadian Cowboy Country magazine. I like writing and I like getting paid. How cool would it be if the two worked together?

I hope you do submit your work, CCC, your writing is beautiful.

You're leaving a legacy and getting a little money is a lovely thing - good for you!!!
